Good news, several parts showed up today, but I'll return 1 product back to Brownells (wrong slide due to description). On other good news the weird backorder notification did ship 5 18 round 357sig/40s&w mags and the comp).
FedEx just delivered 500 rounds of CCI Blazer Brass 45acp 230fmj. Five day shipping ain't bad to me. Haven't been to the range in a few months when my Sig P-220 comes back from action work will be going.Just ordered 500rds of Blazer brass 45acp 230fmj from Fast Ammo. Probably should have asked if anyone has had bad results with this ammo or company before purchasing. Guess I'll find out.
Here's part if the issue on why it's going back. The other is it's for a 9mm instead of 357sig/40s&w. I mean I could use it IF I weren't to shoot 9x19, but don't want to. The slide (though incomplete) did have a good price.Good news, several parts showed up today, but I'll return 1 product back to Brownells (wrong slide due to description). Kinda wish I still had a 357 Sig pistol. Quite a few moons ago had an Sig P-239 in 357 Sig was quite the handful. Can't even remember what I traded it for. Good luck on your endeavor. Here's part if the issue on why it's going back. The other is it's for a 9mm instead of 357sig/40s&w. I mean I could use it IF I weren't to shoot 9x19, but don't want to. I don't want another 9x19 necessarily, but have been looking at the Beretta new lineup I've posted about (lunar, nomad & 1 other something or other).Kinda wish I still had a 357 Sig pistol. I would add a comp on ut to finish out the length like what sig did on their full length frames using a sub or compact barrelThat’s looks funny……..![]()

I love me some P239. The grip on those things feel like they were MADE just for ME!Kinda wish I still had a 357 Sig pistol. Quite a few moons ago had an Sig P-239 in 357 Sig was quite the handful. Can't even remember what I traded it for. Good luck on your endeavor.
When I worked for campus police many moons ago (mid-1990's), our department was the absolute very last in Indiana to switch from a wheelgun to a semiauto. After polling everyone, the Chief opted for the P229 because we could use .357 Sig and/or .40S&W (which was just then becoming a thing). After I left to go elsewhere, I don't know if they ever made use of the spare .357Sig barrel or just stuck with the .40... My guess is they stuck with .40 and never took advantage of the ability to swap, on account of the crazy popularity of the Short & Weak at that time and the fact that as far as I know the .357 Sig just never wowed the masses. Personally, I liked that Sig.Kinda wish I still had a 357 Sig pistol. Quite a few moons ago had an Sig P-239 in 357 Sig was quite the handful. Can't even remember what I traded it for.
