What have you bought firearms related in the last 48 hours?

Hi,

Well, I'm getting in touch with my inner cowboy. I just ordered a (VZ Grips) conversion square butt grip for my 686 Plus.

To go along with that upgrade I also ordered a leather holster and drop Buscadero cartridge belt (Hunter Company).

These should be a ton of fun out on the range. Now I'm going shopping for a new cowboy hat. ;) 🤠

Thank you for your indulgence,

First you need a single action gun to be a cowboy there pardner……😬

True. If I wanted to take part in any real "cowboy action" competition, I would need a single action. But I can pretend. :D My .22 revolver is single action but I don't have a holster for it yet. That gear is nothing fancy, less than two bills for the holster and belt and less than one bill for the grips. It's just for having fun outdoors on the range.

Hi,

Which .22 single action do you have? I have been checking out a Ruger Wrangler myself here lately….

The little Rugers are nice. I have the Heritage Rough Rider 4.75". It's decent and can be had for about $100 on sale. I think the Ruger may be a little more robust for not much more money. But I'm thinking of getting another Rough Rider, one with a ridiculously long 12" or 16" barrel, just for fun.

All hat, no cattle 😉

Today was the first day that I was able to drive to my LGS. I bought a Night Fision Orange front sight for my Gen 5 19 and had that installed. It definitely catches my eye quicker than the stock white. I was able to somewhat comfortably shoot a box of 50. Only had 1 flyer and that was at 25 yards.

The skies opened up just about the time I was going to leave so I decided to wait until the rain let up. Ended up putting a Glock 48 in layaway while I waited. Hopefully, if the doctor cuts on my neck tomorrow, I'll still be able to shoot the GSSF matches this weekend 🤞

Saint Victor V2 .308....who's bought one? I have the original and haven't had any issues, tight groups and no failures. Is the newest version worth my money? PS...I didn't know where else to post this question.
Why get a replacement if orig works so well. I have an original .308 victor as well. Curious why you would replace a gun that works for you ?
