Water commissioner: ‘Do not flush flushable wipes’ during COVID-19 pandemic
Oakland County Water Resources Commissioner Jim Nash is calling for the public to be careful about what they’re flushing down the drain.
A lot of great points on what not to flush!
You don't want to mung-up your plumbing!![]()
The worst I seen was a medical facility that was newly constructed where the plumber tied the main waste line into the grease trap outside accidentally and the whole line backed up after a few weeks of use.Try working at a county jail like I did, spoons, forks, sheets, towels, t-shirts, styrofoam trays.......I had to deal with this all the time.
Soulds like you had a sh!&&y job.Try working at a county jail like I did, spoons, forks, sheets, towels, t-shirts, styrofoam trays.......I had to deal with this all the time.
Same here. That could lead to a very costly mistake if you don't pay attention.Common sense here people. I have septic tanks can't flush any of these thing.
30 days in the cooler!Try working at a county jail like I did, spoons, forks, sheets, towels, t-shirts, styrofoam trays.......I had to deal with this all the time.
Yes found that out. When I first bought my house I was single and working out of state a lot so I had my younger brother move in so there was someone here during the week. I will just say his girlfriend clogged the main drain line. On New Years Eve and I had a family party, it backed up.Same here. That could lead to a very costly mistake if you don't pay attention.
I'm sure they loved you for giving them that tip.Well, one time the whole inmate population plugged up the main line cause they revolted against there supper meal, they wouldn’t stop flushing there toilets and water/crap was everywhere, so I shut off there water, jail administration said you can’t do that, I said sure I can, just got to turn the valve off....,,,
Now that there is funny. While we are on the subject of sewage, you might like this.
They were replacing our 100 year plus system with all new water and sewage lines.
One Friday they had closed up the big dig and used a line to mark the end. I just
couldn't help myself. Took a photo, made up the picture below, and started passing
it around the neighborhood. Supervisor had a lot of questions to answer come Monday
When they were all done I fessed up to him and gave him a framed copy of the picture.
