What the hell happened to me...

I really hope all the Hi-Point comments on this forum are sarcasm... There's just no way any of you would actually own one of those things, is there? YES I KNOW THEY WORK but my God they are UGLY. Like seriously ugly. Hillary Clinton nude ugly. I can get over bad looks for great function (e.g. Glock) but there are limits.
We have two Hi Points and one Glock. No problems with the two but the Glock has been a problem since day one. The belief that all Glocks are perfect is an illusion.

I'm such a heretic in the Glock world that I have openly been critical of them at GSSF matches. There, of course, everyone shooting stock classes are equally handicapped.
You can't properly troll the Glock crowd unless you show up with a holstered HK or Smith PC. Smith, of course, is just better... but the Glock people reeeeeeeaaaalllly hate it when you point out that HK was actually the first polymer framed handgun. A lot of them don't usually know that.

Edit: I actually like Glock. I just don't like the hard core arrogant "fan boy" club that Glock tends to foster.

Not 1 upping, just building on. Being from Jersey i hadn’t shot a firearm until my 40th birthday in Ireland (clay pigeons). Fast forward to day after Christmas 2024 and the kiddo was visiting from Jerez and we all thought would be fun to go chootin. This was taken about week or two ago….smithy missing. Have done optics and triggers for friends and clean all their stuff. I’m right there with ya!

I blame my tism. When i get interested in something, im very interested.

Every time I look at this picture, this little guy keeps catching my eye. I really, really need to get a nice little J-Frame.

Hi,

2 months ago I watched a stupid youtube video about the Bodyguard 1.0, and thought to myself "I really need to get one of those". Fast-forward to now, I've since bought a BG1.0, a BG2.0, a Shield 1.0, a Shield Plus, a new Wrangler, and 3 new quick access safes.

Hello everyone, my name is Silly Goose, and I am a gun-a-holic.

I think it's pretty clever how firearms keep finding their way into my cabinet. At first all I wanted was one semi-auto pistol, one shotgun, and one rifle. But then a 1911 caught my eye. That fun little .22 tickled my fancy. Now I'm on a journey to add "one of each" to my little collection. Not one of everything from every manufacturer, just one of each "style" or "platform". Here's most of my modest collection.

Not pictured: M&P FPC, Saint Victor, XD9 Mod3, 1861 Navy revolver, .45 Derringer, maybe one or two more. I can't remember.

On my "one of each" to-do list:

Glock, probably G17L
Lever rifle, probably Henry Small Game .22
Hi-Point, probably Yeet Canon Gen2
Large frame revolver, maybe S&W 686
Semi-auto shotgun, undecided
Sig, undecided

...um, I really don't know where this list will end. ;)

Some are silly, some are fun, some are serious tools, etc. It's a never-ending battle.

Thank you for your indulgence,

BassCliff

Very nice collection.

Whenever I see a VP or a Springer XD-Something it always catches my eye. Such nice looking, well-built firearms. Both are on my "to buy someday" list.

I keep telling my wife that gun elves bring them. Please don't let her know that they aren't real.
