I told her if there was any justice in the World, I would be standing in front of a flat top for a living. As it turns out, the World is not fair and I actually amounted to something. Young kids should take notice...expecting the World to be "fair" is not going to pay any of your bills.

Thanksgiving turned out to be pretty much what I said. There was also Apple, Cherry and Pumpkin pie.
There were three types of chili sauce. I can't really say they were too hot for me but I had to use them sparingly.
My son-in-law likes hot. I don't recall ever having seen this but my wife says that she's been over at the daughter's house and watched him eat peppers and wipe the sweat off his forehead and then take another bite and wipe the sweat off his forehead and take another bite.
I don't understand that. That's not a flavor that's just burning your tongue.

Daughter's backyard. They're three miles apart.
We have to drive slightly uphill to the highway that we have to cross to get to her house and then slightly downhill from the highway to her house. And that wasn't quite the dividing line but it it looked like somebody literally went and drew a line and that's where the snow stopped

Night Rider, I am jealous! I moved to town when I got married, and I sure miss shooting steel off my back deck. Someday, we will be back out of the city...I loved the solitude. And the stars at night with no other lights around...perfect.

Unfortunately we're not completely dark skies.
I haven't decided if we live in between two big wind farms or in the middle of one gigantic wind farm.
Either way, they all have anti Collision lights on top.
The daughter on the other hand, it's got to be that Ridge between us, has no wind farm around her house and she is Dark Skies.
