I want one day a year when I can hunt the hunters that hunt purely for sport. Before I get all beat up, yes they can be armed with the weapon(s) of their choice. If you eat what you hunt, trap, or fish, I got no problem with you. But if you hunt just to kill and for a trophy, I'd LOVE a shot at cha!

I wont say hunting for a trophy only doesnt happen; (and even then the meat left in the field doesnt get wasted); but what I can tell you is NOTHING gets wasted in Afrika. Id bet a shinny nickel there are more roadkills than what you are describing

I have lots of customers that hunt coyotes and leave the kills where they lay. Same for prairie dogs. I guess you could say the bodies provide food for other animals...

Hunting’ for elk in S. Utah. When I moved here from California, I traveled Ed for 10 years to get drawn for any hunt but to no avail. At 81, one more shot would be nice, plus elk meat s the best, but not holding my breath. Thankfully, I have a ‘rich’ neighbor who hunts a lot, with a crossbow, who supplies me with moose, elk and venison.
