I used to sleep walk a lot. Nothing is more unnerving than waking up the next morning and finding the motorcycle parked in a different spot. I can't count how many times I road that thing in the middle of the night sound asleep with zero recollection. Every now and then I would have a "deja vu" of the night ride and get totally weirded out. I tried locking the keys in the safe thinking I surely would wake up trying to open the safe. The safe didn't seem to slow me down. I thought maybe I was imagining my sleep walking so I put a few cameras in the house. Sure as hell I'd get dressed, grab a jacket, and go for a ride. I'd even cook full meals. For this reason, I installed a supervised alarm sensor on the gun room door and only my better half has the disarm code. All I can add to this conversation is try not to ever have to fight naked. It just looks silly!

I always have a pocket knife close to where i sleep. The past couple-ish years my knife lays above me on the headboard of the IKEA bed-frame i have now. This is where i will lay my handgun when i get it...
