Several.years ago somebody recommended Kramer Leather to me and I bought one. I was impressed enough that anytime I get a new gun that I'm considering for carry I buy a Kramer Leather holster to go with it.

Milt Sparks. I will buy a Galco to wear while I am waiting for the Milt Sparks if needed. Sometimes their wait times are a little long. They are the best fitting, most comfortable inside the waistband holster going.

Have an old Milt Sparks holster for 1911's I picked up while attending a defensive pistol class at Thunder Ranch.

At Five Five the only way I can hide anything is inside the waistband. Except on a road trip, I go with a shoulder rig for driving. Galco or a "Galco Style" Horizontal dual gun rig from Bianchi that has to be at least twenty years old...and when I say that, it typically means closer to 30 years because time gets away from me.

If one goes to the IWB holster in my opinion you can get away with a bigger gun than a J Frame so I am not a J Frame on the belt guy. Having said that, my wedding/funeral/BBQ gun is a nickel plated J Frame, so it is shined up now and again and placed in Milt Sparks Rig

I went looking for a Galco holster the other day and for a Galco shoulder holster they wanted within $5 of what Kramer wanted for theirs. I've never had a problem with Galco but I'm not paying that much for a Galco holster.

If I carry IWB, I normally use a kydex holster but for OWB its only leather for me....My favorite maker at this point is Azula Holsters. Well-made and they have a reinforced top opening so it doesn't collapse when the firearm is drawn. They have a thin profile as well so concealment is easier...they are mostly exclusively 2 slot holsters vs. metal clips or something less secure.

I rarely wear a coat so outside the waistband does not work for me. Guess if I were more stylish I could get away with it! Sparks has been my go to for ages...for example, anyone remember the 4516? Yes, young whippersnappers, we used to actually carry those boat anchors!
