The whole system is designed to encourage plea deals. I dont have a problem with that. If every case went to trial the back up would be years and the cost crazy. You shouldnt hate the deal making, the issue is the penalties assessed.

The issue isn't the process of deal making , it's an inescapable necessity .

The issue is the deals that are made .

In some of the blue cities and states, if criminals are not prosecuted the crime stats stay low and they boast about the safety of their cities, plus their voter base stays out of jail.
