Why so hard to find?

Springfield Firstline editions, specifically the 1911 Operator.
I don't want to but a regular line edition, but if I must, I must, but I can't find those local either, or even at my online retailer of choice.

What I’m going to guess is it was a limited version, then…quite possibly a one-time release.

Get one while you can…
