Came here on the reco of @Snake45 trying to find a new home after Gunhub (an old board where twenty years ago we knew a number of old-time gunwriters) imploded and died. Unfortunately, Washington State is even worse than Commiefornia with the "y'all can't have that" crap...
Have a 7" longslide in .450 SMC I've been working on for that long that, while it doesn't have any Springfield parts in it, whatever may be thought of her now I must note that without a lot of encouragement and advice from Deb Else all those years ago this monster never even would have gotten started.

It comes down to the historical lean I think. The articles that are reprinted here I find interesting.
I have a couple Springfield guns, news from them is nice too.
Some of these gun forums smell like Axe body spray, full of middle school humor and hormones. I’m tired of that BS.

Yep, I like Armory Life, the articles and forums. Also Springfield's Customer Service has been Very Good to me.
And as far as plastic guns go my XDEs have Never Failed! Glad I got a couple before they were taken off the market!

Ya know…I’ve tried a couple others too, and like you said… the layout, and everybody is so damn serious. I mean, sometimes things get a little serious here, but then we go off the rails a bit and talk about cretins and shaving, and curmudgeons … and then all bets are off.Researching a project on my Sig and joined SigTalk. I don’t like the layout at all! Had to run back to my good place
