Winter is almost here

We are enjoying an Indian Summer here in the Wild Wild Upper Midwest, mid-80s. But highs will be in the 60s next week. Fall is coming first, then winter. Last year we had a blizzard on Halloween. Oh boy!

First hard freeze of this part of the year for the next 2-3 nights.

Will be putting winter fertilizer down in yard this week. Still beautiful weather and if we are lucky to get snow here this year it usually comes in the first 2 weeks of December. It doesn't stay long but sure does look nice for a short time. Spring returns in mid February here and so does the heat. I always look forward to winter, it must be the New Englander in me.
