Would seriously consider this

If I could find an decent OWB EDC holster and a holster for a light on it I would seriously consider selling the P365xl and picking it up. I wanted a 9mm that had an optic cut and light rail for possible future use which is why I picked up the P365xl in the first place.

This ticks off a lot of my boxes, hammer, light rail, optic cut, hammer, no magazine safety, manual safety, hammer ..

Only thing would need changing is take it to a good smith and maybe have the beavertail Trimmed down maybe just less than halfway.

Maybe by the time I find decent holsters they will have an aluminum frame version.

Thats my drawbacks of some of these boutique clone pistols - the magazines and the holsters. Not really sure what nuances are but I fear by the time accessories become more available without much popularity, the gun goes obsolete.

That’s one heck of a beaver tail. I can see Superman ducking from that one.

I could have sworn I saw a lightweight article the other day. I also hate the beavertail. Don't want to bob that on a new gun and then refinish. I can appreciate the benefit of a straight trigger, but the design side of my mind kinda likes the beauty of the curved trigger. Losing the mag safety is a plus, but the trigger should have been 4-5 lbs. instead of 6. Dot ready is a plus. Rail is not a priority for me.

I can see where some hesitate to modify a new firearm. Never been one to let that stop me making a gun "perfect". Took this one from the gunshop where I bought it and straight to Magnaport. Had the 5.5 inch barrel bobbed to 4.5 in, crown inverted, forcing cone recut, ported, CMore sights installed, action job and later on pin striped years layer after this picture Then I added the ivory stocks, always preferred a smooth grip on a heavy magnum.

Used my perfect hunting handgun for 30 plus years. Sold it a couple years ago for a good price.

Falco makes a holster for them. I have the PI OPS.
