Security personnel at Coast Guard Base Alameda in California opened fire on a U-Haul truck that after it's driver tried to back into the base.

So what's wrong with their shooting skills? Looks like they hit two occupants of the truck that went to hospital, though they were not DRT

My jaw actually kind of dropped when I saw the videographer standing downrange and just slowly starting to move as they start dropping rounds into the U-Haul. Guy has ZipZapZero situational awareness.

I wouldn’t say they sucked. Handguns and even 5.56 (all bullets really) so weird things through glass not to mention they didn’t have much room to work with as far as windows as it was backing up. Even 5.56 isn’t that effective going through the back of a box truck and all the layers of various steel

This. From everything media says too many folks mistake 5.56 with.50 cal effectiveness. Doesn’t work that way in the real world. Whatever the media’s minion say, it’s still just a glorified varmint cartridge. It will never be as effectives as a heavier caliber (which is why Unc’s boys are going back to larger bore stuff)
