Wow the Avidity Arms PD10 actual exists

The Avidity Arms PD10 is the first defensive handgun designed from the ground up by a defensive shooting instructor, Rob Pincus.
So is Rob going to be the next Browning? Can’t wait to get my hands on one at my local store.

It's not a bad lookin gun but what kills it for me is it only holds 10 rounds of 9mm. says it is on a 1911 frame. if i an going to buy one on that type of frame and it only holds 10 round it will be a metal frame and in 45 auto.

This pistol intrigues me. The more I read about it the more I think that it might make a good warm weather ccw. The 10 round count does not bother me. I also like the idea of 1911 magazines even though they seem to be slightly modified. Price is also not too bad. Hopeful after it has been out for a few months price may drop after they get more sellers online. I guess only time will tell. At first Davidsons will be only distributor.

Every striker fired black polymer pistol looks like a Glock.

I picked up a second one today, so I've got the .30SC and 9mm variants. The 9mm, NIB, was $275 from an FFL tired of it sitting on their shelf.

They're REALLY thin. Great for behind-the-hip IWB carry. Most 1911 9mm mags work, too.

I had one few months ago and it was the worst gun I have ever had. I could not get thru a magazine without it mis-feeding. I purchased it thru guns.com and eventually returned it. I did talk to owner of Avidity and he was no help as their website was also a mess. Hope you can find magazines for that pistol. I wish you all the luck with it. Of course I was told I should not use 1911 mags as it would not fit properly. For me it was a bad deal. Mine was a 9mm.

My .30SC has run flawlessly. We'll see about the 9mm, and I only need enough mags for the range and/or one if I ever decided to carry it for any reason. Their website is a mess - I functionally consider them out of business.
