My daughter is a teacher not liberal and teaches a state mandated curriculum. The school district will then select which offerings they will teach to meet the State guidelines. The more in-depth history will be taught in Pre-AP and AP classes to my understanding. I guess we are in a why teach History when yo can google it mode. Not many flaming liberals in my area of Texas teaching school.

WhenI taught U. S. Government to high school seniors I always used the Jack Web method, "only the facts ma'am, only the facts"! I was an instuctor not an influencer.

What bothers me the most is people cannot get past their hatred for Trump, so they just can't see the big picture.

Cavine Newsome had a Propostion supposedly to rearrange districs, and we had a zillion different TV spots in favor of the a state's district borders. Supposedly because of something another state did.

Yet EVERY campaign ad had to mention TRUMP.

Basically, because he's running for POTUS. And so far, taxpayers are paying for it.

Ending the filibuster now is a dangerous game to play. No guarantee Republicans will hold the Senate in 2026. And you can bet if (R)s were to end it now, the Democrats vote turnout would be off the charts at the mid terms.

Yeah ending the filibuster IMHO would be a very bad move to make. I voted for Trump, really like him. I'm concerned Trump is only thinking about the next three years assuming republicans will keep the senate and house after 2026 elections.

Voters deserve the candidate they voted for, the rest of us...about 70,000,000 do not. nyc will be bankrupt in short time with businesses and residents moving out. promises of free sh** doesn't come without a cost

they will get what they want, just heard on the news the fire commissioner just resigned due to the election, there's going to be more, a lot more, fireman, police, first responders and likely others

Looking at his (Mamdani's) campaign people, they are young, for the most part. 9/11 didn't seem to impact them like it did older people. They will now all be lining up for their free stuff. The show is about to get real...

Living where I did in Connecticut I could be in NYC in about an hour and NEVER had an interest in going.
