I am researching on the original XD® Series handguns, including media libraries, diagrams, brochures, ad campaigns, handbooks, SKU's, UPC's etc. The Springfield Armory discontinued many of these firearms and are not available to my work. Any aid from this forum would be most helpful.

On that page you'll find description, specs, manual, UPC, etc, for the 5" XD9.

Many searches may turn up hundreds of results for discontinued handguns. Refine your terms or just scroll through all the results.

Thanks, I have scoured the Springfield archives but many on the list, especially the original version, have been deleted or lost. The "Wikipedia.com" or the "Genitron.com" XD page are incomplete. Same for "The Armory Life" articles. Still the quest continues!

I've done a couple of quick web seaches for any Springfield archives that might be online, not much luck yet. But I'm a little curious too. If I find anything useful I will update this thread and let you know.
