Xdm elite 9mm mag extension

I picked up a xdm elite OSP today. I needed a new host for my 9mm supressor and this one checked all the boxes.

The only downside is that the standard xdm magazines don’t fit without the magazine extension. I happen to have several of the 19 round mags that I would like to convert to the 22 round magazines that come with the xdm elite.

Anyone know where I can get the elite magazine extensions?

You can check out Springer Precision for an extended base plate but a 35 round extended mag would be a lot more fun!

BTW how do you like your Obsidian-9 ?

SA doesn't sell their OEM extension base pads/floorplates seperately.

As 10mmLife says there's aftermarket options.

I've used Arredondo mag extensions with success on my 19rders. The Elite magzines are the same XDm 9mm 19 rd mags just with a base pad extension.

BTW how do you like your Obsidian-9 ?

I’ve been very pleased with the obsidian 9. I use it on my ruger PC carbine and the pistols. It’s very quiet with sub 147gr loads

I bought mine at the right time and I got a $200 credit from Rugged and a $100 credit from Silencer Shop with purchase of the Obsidian 9

I found this on eBay. I bought one to try it out. I think from here on out I’ll just buy the 23 round magazines and save my 19 round mags for my wife’s XDM 3.8 compact.
