You HAVE to get rid of a gun in your collection...

no-nope.gif

ONE GUN HAS GOT TO GO!

Let's have some fun! Analyze your collection (mentally or open the safe) and pick the one gun that you would get rid if you absolutely had to. Which is it?

For me, I'd have to say it would be my Hi Standard target pistol that I bought in the 90's and completely forgot I owned until recently.
Nope, I have none that have to go and it will stay that way until I go. In the past I had to sell several to meet medical expenses and at that time it was the right thing to do. There's not much left on this highway I travel on and hopefully I can get back to my home state B4 I hit the end of the road. My daughter and son will get the firearms and all that goes with them. My few guns wouldn't be worth much because there all 20 plus years old. If some kind of monitary problems come up there's nothing in the well so lock me up, 3 hots and a cot will be fine and medical coverage is there problem. Nope not getting rid of any.😑

With out hesitation my Hi Point JXP 10.
In fact I am already planning on getting rid of it soon in exchange for some cash.
Not that there is anything wrong with it. It's just a range toy and I have 22s for that.
I just can't decide if I want to use the $ to replace my Glock 17 with a better full size carry gun, or get a 9mm or 300 black out pistol/carbine

I'm at the place where I can load up my essentials and move althe I would rather have a pickup. It was a drill this morning as the power went out which means our home concentrator shuts down so l must move wife to portable which is good for about 4 hours B4 it needs charging. I was getting ready to remove pin on garage door so I can open garage door manually. Power came up and cause was over load at sub station. They don't upgrade the grid and with people buying electric cars and increase of charging stations which in many cases is backed up by diesel generator. So the wisdom of build more charging stations and we will build more charging stations later. When the power goes down my wife is at risk which then our survival mode kicks in and options are limited. Now I hope power company did just use a bandaid to get by until Monday when a full repair crew can work on problem. So going to be Long days and nights until I'm sure grid is stable again

mentioning pwr or its stability or lack thereof

ours has over the last week been doing odd things like power down to below thresholds for certain things like the AC units and an OLD less pricey microwave and a digital clock
the ac units lose just enough or are interrupted just enough to cause the sweep fin to move about and start sweep vice static
the digital clock has been gaining minutes and the microwave clock resets to zero
i only noticed as the split unit was blowing ice cold air down at me vice across the room

we have a back up generator that plugs into the meter base,
i expected the heat we have had the last week to cause to OFF periods , but so far its just been voltage irregularity

do you have a battery back to run the concentrator? there are few solar generators they have solar panels to recharge but bascially they are a portable battery inverter device that can supply power without fumes for long time

300 blackout pistol/carbine 😁

Well...I'm late to the party again . So, my "collection", or whatever you want to call it, is nowhere near as large as those of some of you guys, and each of my firearms has its place (in my life and in my safe). It would be hard to choose because I like them all but if I was FORCED to choose one to be rid of, it would be my Ruger Max9. Don't get me wrong though, I really like the way that gun feels in my hand, but it truly needs some aftermarket TLC (as does my Hellcat, but that's another story). I hate the trigger, that's just for starters. And right now I have a lot going on so my adventure into amateur gunsmithing has had to be reigned in for a while. I have plans though...;)
