While drones could (maybe) be easier to shoot than hand grenade a due to loiter time bs thrown object he main issue would be volume of drones bs how many shotguns you have!

I have some pretty good emergency reloading skills with the ole 870 but an army of 10 drones I’d probably be hit on that one.

I’m pretty sure the situation comes up where where you’d be shooting drones for actual self-protection, FAA rules would be the last thing you’re worried about.

18 USC 32. makes it a felony to damage or destroy an aircraft, with up to 20 years in prison. The FAA considers drones "aircraft". People get all bent out of shape when I point this out and want to start talking about balsa toy gliders and frisbees and what is aircraft, . Take it up with the FAA, I'm just giving the info.
