What are you doing right now??

Ooops almost forgot.... i did some whacking and mowing of their yard today. It's been 30+ years since i mowed a yard and i was reminded that mowing a damp/wet lawn is a PITA. But a non-rainy day i got a bit of a "workout", going to be raining and heavy storms for another week but the weather app has been changing every couple of hours... so who knows.... lol....

My ex-father-in-law, now dead since 2012, had over 700 acres near Freer, TX. Hogs got so bad out there, that we would just shoot them, slit their stomachs wide open, and let the coyotes and buzzards feed on them. He eventually bought a used backhoe, and he would drag the carcasses back to the hole he had dug with his tractor, just to get rid of them. He even had traps set but could never keep up with the infestation.

My buddies guide service has access to 25,000+ acres for the last 4 years and runs every week end with clients all year long.
Thousands of dead hogs. You would think we were never there the hogs are so abundant

Watching John Wick Chapter 4 (on "E") which has finally reached the cable/satellite play circut, likely due to the release of the "Ballerina" on June 5th. Until now Chapters 1-3 (extended versions) have been the only ones on the circut.

Looks like it's also an extended version like 1-3, which I hope will make it better that the theatre release since I thought that was choppy & poorly editted.

I just noticed & remembered that the "Tracker" in JW4 uses a modeified Marlin 1894 lever-action PCC so that must have when that current trend got started.
 
Just got showered, now I'm watching the original Frankenstein from 1931, sipping a near ice cold adult beverage, and looking back on the events of the day.
Spent the morning and early afternoon over at the folks. Did a few things for Mom, as well as my laundry.
This evening Mom and I went to a Veterans appreciation dinner at church.
After that, I came home, drained, even though I haven't done much of anything today.
