What are we reading?

Visual Friendlies, Tally Target. It is about Forward Air Controllers putting warheads on foreheads in AFG, IRQ, and the war on terror. Interesting reading, more interesting to me since my oldest son was a FAC for 25 years.

Had family come and visit over the weekend+ and they love to go shopping at thrift stores to find various items to resell at yard sales. While in one of the many thrift stores I ran across Lee Child's, Jack Reacher novel, "Without Fail". On the front book cover there was a sticker that said, "Signed Copy". Inside was Child's autograph. There was another book by Child called, "The Sentinel". I also bought that one. I will be starting the first one today.
To go along with another thread, about purchasing gun related items, the store also had some boxed rubber mats with a picture of a disassembled AR-15 and inside there was also a metal trey to put one's screws, etc. into while cleaning/working on one's AR...
I just finished a Reacher book, In Too Deep. I never tire of the Reacher books, or the TV series.

Books, the Black Autumn Series.

Just picked this up this week.
Shotgun News Treasury vol 1 1997-2000
Been looking for it a while, do have them on CD, but like the paper copies as well.
Only 1-2 more to complete the Treasury series

The Attack by Kurt Schlichter

The signs were all there, but nobody paid attention. They didn't want to. For years they had been sneaking through our porous southern border. Watching, waiting, planning. The day finally came and suddenly 12,000 heavily armed Islamic Jihadist attacked in unison all over the United States. No one was safe. No place was safe. The fanatics mission was to kill as many Americans as possible before they themselves died as martyrs. They were brutal. Torturing, raping and maiming people just because it was fun to them. The recorded much of their savagery and posted it on the internet. The attack lasted three days. In the end 172,000 Americans were dead. They were trying to break us.

This book takes place 5 years later. The author is touring the country and collecting the stories of those who survived. He interviews a wide array of people. Politicians, various officials, LE, Military, first responders and just ordinary people who got caught up in the attack. The book is set up so that each chapter is one person's story.

The book is fascinating and horrifying. The scariest part is that it could actually happen.

I posted earlier about some of the books I have read, still on the Jack Reacher series by Lee Child and son books.
Getting off topic. WWII movie with Jack Palance and Eddie Albert called 'Attack' where Palance has him arm run over by a German tank for one thing.

Just broadcast to all the Islamic Jihadist's that all those virgins they were expecting when they die are all gay.

Finally, Grayfox, I am imagining you on a street corner with a sign that says the "END OF THE WORLD IS NEAR".
With all the guns U.S. citizens own, an invasion? Really? Seriously?

Listening to “The 16 undeniable laws of communication” by Maxwell. Just finished “Leaders eat last” and “Warren Buffet and interpretation of financial statements”

Oh and refreshed “Who moved my cheese” because i handed it out to some team members at work that are hemming and hawing 😂
