M1A Scope Mounting Guide

So I mounted this scope and took it to the range, and it lost zero pretty soon. Accuracy was also pretty bad with inconsistent groupings.

When I got back home, the screw was loose (despite having done everything closely in accordance to instructions from the video - repeatedly tightening the screw and striking around it with the mallet in order to seat the mount).

Looks like the same problem happened to others with a similarly designed UTG mount:


In that case, applying the blue thread locker helped to prevent that loosening from happening. I'll try that to fix the issue.

Maybe the thread locker part on the front screw should be included in the official instruction video?

Not surprised.

Putting a cheap sub-standard mount on an M1A typically results in dissapointing results, especially M1As are hard on mounts.
