I took a guess on 74 thinking the show started in 1974 therefore that would be the year of the car. But really any year before 74 could be correct, just lucky guess on my part.

25'...... not sure it still gets done but on Jersey beaches/boardwalks a group of people set up movies to watch on the beach throughout the summer at night. and Jaws always has a night or two....

I didn't know that. Part of the lawsuit James Garner brought against Universal, in regards to salary residuals dealt with the Firebird Cars (I think they used 2) and how the Universal production team would deduct the damage and depreciation of them over and over again, thus reducing his take. He also injured his leg on that show and you can see him limping in several episodes especially when running. He won the lawsuit and got several million dollars I think.
