My dear friends,

You know I'm a "one of each" kind of guy when it comes to collecting firearms. I'm not talking about one of everything. I would like to add one of each style, or platform, or technology, from a few of the major (or minor) manufacturers. After tomorrow I will have saved up enough gig money to add another to my gun cabinet.

For example, I have two 1911 pistols, one in .45 and one in 9mm. I have one comp'd pistol. I have one pistol with an optic. I have one HK. I have one OD Green pistol. I have one revolver and one black powder revolver. I have one AR, one AK, one 9mm PCC, one shotgun, etc. You get the idea.

So the three that are on the top of my current "one of a kind" list are these:

Henry Small Game Lever, .22LR, 20" barrel, peep sights.

Glock 17L. It will probably be my only Glock.

And the dark horse in my collection, I want one Hi Point. How about the Yeet Cannon?

Sure, I'll be adding others later. Probably a SIG, a large frame revolver, a Thompson repeater in .45. Who knows what else. ;) Thanks for sharing my fun!

Picked up a Henry h001 awhile back. Very nice shooter

Hey!

You guys are terrific! I do want to add all three to my little collection but, I must admit, I was leaning toward the little Henry lever rifle first. Plus, the Hi Point is so cheap I could probably get both of those and still have $$ left for my monthly ammo purchase. ;)

I enjoy pistols with long barrels (Am I compensating for something? :ROFLMAO: ), and owning discontinued firearms, hence my interest in the Glock 17L. I have an XD45 Mod.2 Tactical (5" barrel) that I'm glad I bought used at a good price. I also picked up a new XDM Elite 5.25" Precision before they were discontinued. Hopefully I'll be able to pick up the G17L before they go away.

But I digress. For now, I'm trying to limit my caliber stock to .22LR, .45ACP, 9mm, 5.56, and 7.62x39. I'm curious about 5.7, but not .380. I guess I will eventually get into .357 Magnum (.38 Special) since revolvers and levers will both eat that. So many guns, so little time, so much fun!

Thanks to everyone for helping me ponder this in my heart. :)

Thank you for your indulgence,

BassCliff
