Is save the mail polish for the front sight and front sight only.
Quality self defense ammo has proven techniques with the lacquer they seal primers with.

So I wouldn’t worry about going that far especially with mail polish as that stuff can damage the cartridge

We were also told to put rock salt in shotgun shells for trespasses ….that is still deadly force and will still kill or seriously injure someone within a certain range!

Technically, that's still cycling your carry ammo! You're just not rotating it in the mag
