LOL, I don't know the correct name of them. we always called them dog pecker gnats. well you know the reason why.

we had them horrible last summer, our ac drain to the catch tank outside had some how allowed them to come on IN that way
so i added one more elbow water trap in the drain and it stopped the illegal migration into the house
bought a bunch of zevo blue light sticky things
one at the door to the mud room ( entrance)
three in the BIG garage
3 in the rest of house
i change them pads out about every 3 months
so far this year they are at a minimum
most get caught at the mud room one
it has 3 doors so they cant escapeeeeee as easily
we also use a de humidifier to help the ac units and 55 to 60 % humidity seems to make them die or not want to hang around
this years big is the little moths that fly right at you then vanish , you find them a flew minutes later dead on the floor
