Not that I’ve ever thought Air Force Times was the bastion of journalism, but that has to be the most non informational article I’ve read in a while!
If you want actual 2A news, the top source is Jared at Guns & Gadgets 2nd Amendment News.
Also, John Crump: youtube.com/@JohnCrumpNews

I post these guys & several others, daily, at FRIENDS of GOA & FPC on Gab.

My prediction is, even though military investigators are FAR from finished, Sig will use this news to once again proclaim that the P320 is 'safe' to infinity and beyond, and blame shooting victims for the reason why they got shot...

My beef with Sig isn't really about whether or not the P320 is inherently unsafe for owners; the incidents speak for themselves. Everyone can make up their mind in that regard, and act accordingly. No, my beef is how Sig treats its customer base. It's not cool to blame victims for being victims.

Everyone watching this debacle play out like the slo-mo train wreck this has become, keeps saying this is a master-class in how to NOT manage a PR nightmare, and it is one of their own making. At this point, my chief concern is what this Charlie Foxtrot is going to do to our 2A rights. We've been telling the anti-2A zealots for decades that "guns don't kill people, people do"; and now here's the P320 saying 'hold my beer'!

I am actually mildly surprised that with all of this playing out across the internet, the anti-freedom zealots haven't already noticed this and seized on it.

Ahh, best part of being a legal American citizen. We can make up our own minds and act accordingly and not have to succumb to what “experts” tell us or others personal opinions.

Agree 1000%. This is why I dumped ALL my Sigs a few years ago, not just the 3 P320s. And to be honest, two of those P320s were compacts which I’ve yet to see any reported incidents on. Terrible customer service SHOULD have terrible consequences for a business.

I’m just glad I beat the offloading rush and got decent money for my Sigs!

I like Jared because he reports the news, "Good, bad, ugly or indifferent", or words to that effect; he doesn't throw his own personal 2 cents' worth without saying 'this is my opinion'. Then you have guys like Paul Glasco who are strictly editorialist, but on general current events. All we need to do is pick our flavor and we're good to go.

You know who hasn't been taking flak, for many many years?!? Smith & Wesson. Once long ago, they were bought up by some British outfit. People groaned, swore they're gonna dump S&W, and nothing happened. The brand diversified (into things like knives, etc.) and the gun manufacturing side came back to the USA, just as I expected. No recalls, no nothin. My next pew is gonna be a S&W.

Problem is there is really NO media source anymore that JUST reports the news. They all editorialize and whenever they gets sued the default answer is a reasonable person understand that, but I question if they really do 😂

Since google is nothing but a puppy that wants to make you happy so how you ask a question can change the return, whenever I want to get info about something I google with bias for and bias against and then make up my own mind.

i don't watch too much tv news anymore...unless there is a fire in my area, and the cause of it,............ or a shooting.........that way i can see/hear how many lungs got blown out

thing is, will this get as much attention as the accusation of the gun causing the harm..???

i think msn and the anti 2A people will squash it.
So far, the anti-2A Harpies have completely ignored it... which is a blessing of sorts.
Bad news is, Sig Inc. will milk it as 'proof' that they've been 'right all along', blaming users for this.
Meanwhile, there will be people who - through no fault of their own - will get shot by a "bad" (out-of-spec) P320.
Safety must come first. Words are cheap, action is what matters. Period.

Well ****. I went looking for deals on P320 Legions - looking for panic selling. Apparently I won two like-new/new Legion pistols at auctions, including one with a DPP already mounted. :) I don't have a Legion series gun from SIG, so they'll be a first.

$680 for an X-Five Legion w/DPP, all original accessories, case, etc. That gun is selling for $900 new, the DPP is another $250-275 (no clue if this one is 2.5 or 6 MOA, I'm hoping for 6). So $1150 worth of gun and optic.

$550 for an X-Carry Legion, no optic, all original accessories, case, etc. That gun is selling for $786, so $2365 off of it new.

I'll probably see between them which I like and consider putting the other up for trade locally. Given that these would only be range/competition guns and not carry, I'm not to worried about any of the present questions being asked about the 320's.
