disagree a bit because i don’t know that their “base” is what people think because it’s amplified by media that highlights the most fringe knuckleheads from both sides. My guess is the discussion will be around the classification as a mental disorder and not so much on the gun part of it, but there are those that anti guns are their “thing” and i don’t think they will mind and possibly push to expand to others. Anymore the more fringe people have a thing, like those that likely really don’t pay attention to anything except as it relates to 2A. I literally saw someone say they didn’t care about the spending bill once the hush and short act stuff was taken out…that is absolutely crazy to me

I don’t believe the divide between your average person is as great as media makes it out to be. It’s just my microcosm of the world, but when i was installing i travelled a lot. Been on 5 continents and all but 11 (I think) states in USA and there are an awful lot of people that are just right or just left of center.

As an old 2A absolutist... I can't help but see the absolutely skyrocketing instances of mental disorders of all types... now I'm wondering if being a 2A believer means that every crazy wacko should be able to have a gun? I truly don't know now... is it a 2A or nothing? If not, who gets to decide... I think this may have been the goal from the outset.

And what I seen the other day, going back to Aurora and the other colorado shooting and Uvalde it comes up to like 6 or 7 that were either trans or gender dysphoric. According to what I read anyway. Which I can't verify is true, but... And while as I said, I oppose this gun control against trans people on it's face, it is noteworthy that when the dude shot up that supermarket in the black neighborhood it was instantly called a racist hate crime, and every single time there has been any type of shooting the liberal media immediately starts speculating, often erroneously labeling it some sort of way. So if we have let's say 3 of the last high profile "Mass shootings" involving trans or gender dysphoric people and/or targeting catholic or other christian schools and churches, what should we label that as ?
