DOJ considering Gun Control for Gender Dysphoria

Gender dysporia is classified as a mental illness under the DSM5.

No, it's not. The way that works is the DSM provides diagnoses and assigns them codes. The diagnosis is used to identify a condition or conditions that cause it, which may or may not have an underlying illness associated with each condition.

Someone who suffered from delusions caused by schizophrenia would have an illness (schizophrenia) underlying that... but not everyone under a diagnostic code in the DSM has an illness directly linked.

Educated , I have been. Thanks. Not sure where I stand on this. IMO it Is a huge red flag on a slippery slope we have been on now for years as far as out 2A rights.

Big red flag and that should be the focus.

If it came down to putting on a sundress and an AR-15 (peacefully) for a demonstration for "all our gun rights," I'd be game... but that's not anything anyone would want to see and I'm definitely not shaving my legs for that. :)

I also wouldn't believe that doing so made me female, but even that's one more piece of spaghetti in all of this.

The real danger is this: "All those people who believe in a supernatural being that controls their destiny but can't actually prove its existence are delusional - they should be disarmed before they do crazy things! Look at history to see just how many deadly crazy things people like them have done in the past!"

Or "all those people who don't believe the same way I do about the climate and keep using electricity and eating meat are dangerous, we should disarm them!"

Or "all those single people who never got married must be planning to do something that having a family would make more difficult, we should disarm them for the children!"

Hysteria alert
Statistically, they almost always are.
Hysteria alert.

You declared it to be so, right here on the internet. It must be so.

Wishful thinking is all the LEFT have left.

It always amazes me how the Left-behinds double down on ignorance and believe that that reinforcement makes it less unbelievable.

Democrats are statistically always wrong. It is therefore fact.

There are rumbles that some states are interested in a age limit for seniors and concealed carry permits. I have family in Oregon and the sheriff has discrimination on issuing permit if there's concerns of danger to self or others. The other side is HIPPA and how much can be released of health records and if no criminal records to validate the reasoning to denie a permit. Oregon is a blue state and I don't know if it has happened but to a blue state it would be another avenue. I understand there measure 114 is still not settled and that was put forth by a church and got on the ballot last election.

And this alone is a reason we should not be accepting the need for a permit for any constitutional right.

Same thing with reciprocity. "The Constitution is my reciprocity" is all we should need.

Guess I would carry without a permit again.
