Kuna Information

Hey gang, good to be back. Was gone for work for a bit.

I am thinking about getting a Kuna just for fun and I think I recall some months back, several folks reported issues with parts coming off or breaking, can't really remember. Anyway, just wanted to ask the crew if anyone has issues with their Kuna so I know what to do / look out for going in.

Thanks all

I never heard that, mine has operated flawlessly, however, they are saying the mags may crack being polymer types. I'll be wrapping my mags with HVAC tape, then Duct tape, keeping the tape out of the mag well. If they crack they should still work. A small issue for a really good system, it's fuuuuuuun!

Look at the ST. Victor pistols too. the short one is about the same length and has metal mags and a whole hella better and more comfortable stock than that thin wobbly 1913 blade. which is not too bad on a 9mm. the breakdown and cleaning is easier too but i'm not an Roller delayed H&K stuff fan. although i have a few of them. i like the AR platform better. i got my flame suit on. fire away. 🤣

I’m closing in on 2K rounds with mine, 90% suppressed.
Had some cracked mags, although they all fired fine. One was cracked bad up top, the reset were down the tubes.
Zero feed/fire issues of any kind, I’m in search of the perfect subsonic round, both for noise AND price.
I’ve put 115 to 158 grain down range, reloads, new, JHP…it’s eaten every single round without a single failure of any kind.

If I had to nit pick. A little bit more rail up front for a light, accessories…and it gets warm up there.

507C with 3x magnifier up top.. I also picked up the cheek weld for the brace, for pure comfort.

It’s simply too much fun for the price, and when I bring it to the range, it’s what every body wants to shoot.

So far the best ammo for me is 150 grain Syntech. Looking for a cheaper alternative… :)

Is the cheek weld for the brace OK NFA wise? Not sure how the ATF would interpret that on a brace…
