It’s simply too much fun for the price, and when I bring it to the range, it’s what every body wants to shoot.

So far the best ammo for me is 150 grain Syntech. Looking for a cheaper alternative… :)

Try the below. I bought some of the 147 grain and it significantly reduced FRP on my OCL Lithium. I need to get some more. The 165 grain may be even better, but haven’t tried it. I’m going to get some of the .300 BLK ammo as well soon.

I have tried the 147 Hush already, it’s possible I tried the 165. My buddy at the range had some, I honestly don’t remember which grain they were TBH. They didn’t perform any better than the Syntech.
I had issues with Freedom Munitions a couple years ago, and haven’t been back.

Respectfully, for about $7 bucks more for 1000 rounds total, I’d rather run the Lipstick rounds :)

Free shipping on Syntech from a few retailers, Freedom charges 25ish… which negates most of the savings per round :)

What i read was my basis

It’s meant to touch the cheek, which by definition would not make it a stock. 🤷‍♂️

Also, easier to ask forgiveness than permission. Without clear guidance from ATFE our interpretation is the rule?

Yep, that actually just came in. I was running direct thread with an Obsidian 45. Got their adaptor thingy for QD and i think I’m going to get an Obsidian 9 that will be dedicated to the Kuna.

Also got a HUB adaptor form Rugged so I’m not totally locked into ecosystem. They are based in SC and so far customer service has been good.
 
I’ve got a Tri Lug and Obsidian 9. It’s a great combo.
I’ve got about 300 rounds through it since the last cleaning, the old fashioned way…
I’m gonna get about 500 or so more through it and give the breakthrough solution a shot… love shooting it, but man, cleaning baffles suck :)
 
I’ve always understood that you don’t really need to clean center fire cans. Rimfire are super dirty and need to be cleaned pretty often, but not so much with center fire. I do clean the 3 lug adapter and lube it. And on my pistol can, I clean the booster. Because these are moving parts and need lube. But I’m not planning on cleaning the baffles in either any time soon. Most I’ll do is shoot some supersonic rounds through once in a while to blow out any loose crud. YMMV…

Recommendations vary 100%.
Rugged suggests 1K rounds. I’ve gone as high as 500…and I have shot supersonic through it.
I may… just give it the dip and get it clean, and then just run it. With all the carbon build up, my ADHD doesn’t let me let it go longer… :)
 
Just as an FYI and take it for what you want. I asked the guys at Otter Creek Labs the following question:

“I have a Lithium on a PCC with 6 inch barrel. Do you recommend any type of cleaning schedule? Really the question applies to any center fire can. I’m having a discussion with people about cleaning center fire cans. I’ve always been under the impression they really don’t need to be cleaned (at least the baffles). Others are saying every 500-1000 rounds.”

This was their response:

“They don’t need to be cleaned!”
