Hi,

Some of you might remember that I worked at Turning Point for about 6 months last year during election season. I met so many good and decent people of all races and backgrounds who loved this country and its freedoms. I thought I'd share this communication from the main office.

Charlie Kirk was a force to be reckoned with. They couldn't refute the truth, the faith, and the common sense he spoke. They couldn't win the debate. They couldn't silence him. So they killed him. He made a huge difference with the youth of this nation. There will be others. The world needs more Charlie Kirks. May the angels rejoice as Jesus welcomes Charlie with open arms.

Act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with God. Be not afraid.

Cliff

Two teachers in this supposedly conservative area of Texas were fired for expressing similar thoughts on fakebook. You have a right to free speech, but your employer frowns on those who make horrendous comments which will reflect on the business. Especially if you are teaching the local community's kids.

I posted this on another thread in the forum, definitely better here.

Although I only watched a few of the videos with CK debating or sometimes basically just talking with people about their beliefs on the current events both political and religious I found him to be honest and non-judgmental. My opinion.
Many are calling The murder “Assassination” of CK an attack on free speech “1st amendment” and although that can be said to be obvious I believe strongly “without going into detail” that there is more to it on the political side.
Social media is blowing up about people celebrating this horrible tragedy and by no means am I condoning or justifying celebrating this murder I find it disgusting that someone would say that this is a good thing however on the flip side of that many others have taken upon themselves to identify these people and not only to call them out on their behavior but to dig deep into their lives and contacted their employers and have gotten them fired from their jobs?
Now going back to what many are saying about why CK was murdered was because he used the 1st amendment on free speech to voice his views and opinions……
Well isn’t that what everyone else is doing?? NOW I’M NOT SAYING THAT loosing your job is the same as being assassinated; by no means it is not.
But shouldn’t the act of free speech go both ways???
Is it karma or just being hypocritical???

On the religious side there are many quotes in the Bible that say if you remove the shepherd the flock will scatter however what CK stood for and talked strongly about is becoming a movement and all I see now is solidarity.

Rest in peace Charlie Kirk and may god bless you and your family.

as quoted elsewhere that i read, "free speech comes with consequences".....

if said free speech, can cause an attack on a business for the comments made by an employee, then i think the employer has every right to fire him/her/it.

if one wants to express his/her/its opinion, than do so on your own device, far away from the employer's business location.

"the opinions expressed by so and so, do not reflect those opinions of this business, or corporation"....

even then, for some businesses, the damage is done, or will continue to tear down that business.

No. Bottom line is you have the right to voice your opinions in this country allegedly. Your first amendment rights are a guarantee against the state silencing you. No such right exists for your employer. They have no duty to employ you, period.

As for Charlie's assassination, I don't think he was targeted by a group or entity to silence his 1st amendment rights. He was targeted by a sick, probably homosexual kid who felt marginalized. The people celebrating it are just happy he isn't still out there flipping on the light switch for potentially millions of young people who they would otherwise have been able to indoctrinate.

As the martyrdom of Charlie Kirk has shown, free speech can have consequences. At least in this country you can't be thrown in jail for speaking out against the government.

Thank you for your indulgence,

Freedom of speech has become the target of selective enforcement. Example: Burning an American Flag is protected under the First Amendment as freedom of speech and expression. Burn a Pride flag, and oh brother you WILL go to jail for committing an act of hate speech.

The Seattle school district just notified parents that a "No Opt Out" LGBTQ curriculum is being introduced into the school system. Is this protected under the First Amendment, or is it indoctrination?

The question is no longer about free speech. It is a matter of indoctrination under color of the First Amendment, and silencing those with opposing viewpoints.

you know, it was on the talk radio this morning, that in Utah, like many other states, when this guy goes to trail, then before sentencing, the Kirk family can make a "victims impact statement"..

i watched the entire broadcast of the wife making her statement on Jesse Walters, and it was heart breaking.

her "victims impact statement" will be no less, than gut wrenching.

if i am home and this is on court tv, i will watch as much as possible.

my wife balled her eyes out when the wife said about her 3 year old daughter asking where her daddy is............

i was not able to hold much in myself.......

damn that shooter, damn him to hell.

um.....check out the EO on that flag item, things have changed https://www.whitehouse.gov/presidential-actions/2025/08/prosecuting-burning-of-the-american-flag/

Appears to me that EO is pretty much eye wash except as it may pertain to immigrant visa holders. While it sounds like it has new teeth, and I wish it did, it falls saying the AG will enforce existing laws and flag etiquette doesn't fall under civil or criminal code. I wish it did.

What urks me just as much are how athletes use the flag like a cape over their sweaty azzes as if that is patriotic, it is not, it is disgraceful. Good men have died under that flag and I will defend it!
