What are you doing right now??

I had a spider friend back when I lived in an old farmhouse in Manitoba. I called her Sophie. She wasn't much to look att but she had spun the most beautiful web in my kitchen window. I never disturbed that window mainly because when the sun shone through that web in the morning, it was beautiful. My asshat of a roommate cleaned that window one day when I was sleeping for a night shift. Never saw Sophie again...😒

Years ago my wife used to kill spiders in the house. I put a stop to it. Unless they're brown recluses. I did give her one concession. Any spider in the bed is fair game.

Usually the ones that have brown on them are sort of mosaic looking. Brown with stripes of tan, orange and black. Kinda like a terazzo floor.
Out in the sun he has some other shades of brown/gold/bronze, but no stripes yet. Some of the 1's we've had showed their stripes about 5 to 7 months of age depending on base color. Gray took the longest to show up than orange and tan with white being between the 2. He's about 4 months old. The black cat might not end up with any stripes, but will know in another 3+.

Finishing coffee #2, gonna start the bacon soon. I truly wish that North Dakota and South Dakota would keep their winds to themselves. Some days you can't go outside around here without getting your face sandblasted 😒. It's already freakishly windy out, so I suppose it's a good thing I have enough indoor chores to keep me out of trouble today. 😎

well, finished the hedge trimming....then putting some of the potted plants to wintering bed.

took longer that i thought too.

got home about 7:30, then got right outside. finished about 10:30.

no more work for me today, and i even need to make a trip to the pharmacy, my meds are ready.

tomorrow maybe.
