OK, Buick Fans

Here are a few pictures of my friends '96 Buick. T-Tops, LS-6 conversion with over 600 documented turbo horsepower, six speed manual transmission. Basically everything the GNX wanted to be when it grew up.

i worked in a Buick dealership, as a service writer/advisor, when the one and only GNX came in...

it was actually sold to a guy somewhere in Texas, and the day it came in, a transporter was there to take it away...

many of us only got a few minutes to look it over.

a cheaper version of the Grand national, was the Buick T-Type.......the dealership had plenty of those, maybe 2 of the Grand Nationals.

if i recall, there was a limited number of Buick dealerships that actually got the pleasure of getting a GNX.

Mother had a 1949 Buick, but it got totaled on an Easter Sunday when it was raining in L.A. The '56 Mercury only had its fender bent in. She then bought a '54 Pontiac, which the radiator somehow got pierced the following Easter. then a '57 Olds followed by a Chevelle. Point of story is I have never driven on an Easter Sunday myself. It is the only thing I am stupidstitious about (sic).
