well, went to my large LGS, and wanted to buy a Blue Label, G-19, Gen 5.

out of stock, and most likely no more to get the owner said.

he did however, call his distributor, but while he was on the phone, there was a box full of Gen 5, G-19's, in MOS....

a little more money, ($100.00 off retail of a non-Blue label price) so i gave him the thumbs up..

however, i cannot get it until tomorrow, they were not checked into stock.


the "receiving guy" was out due to his impending marriage this weekend....!!

i said to the owner, and a few other guys standing around...

"that's no damned excuse to not be at work today"....

"however, a DIVORCE is a MUCH BETTER reason"....

they laughed.

so saturday i go, pay and walk out, maybe sunday morning, test it out

what i will do too, is comparison targets, one for the Hellcat...one for the G-19

i really do not/did not like my range visit back in February of this year, with the Hellcat.

Bought a police trade in, older Glock 22 40 cal. yeah the box is ancient. took it out back of the gun shop and let a mag fly. it didn't have a drop of oil in it but worked perfect. the price was right too. has a little holster wear, not a lot though.
