Meet the new Glock, same as the old Glock

I bought a few of their old models as an investment of some sort, maybe a bad one. time will tell. but i won't ever buy a V model. the striker looks too thin, how long will it last? again time will tell. Big as optics are on handguns now and they don't have one that will take one? seriously? They probably did make a fortune off people like me buying up the old ones. but what will the future sales look like?

So they think they will sell a ton of them without optic ready slides(and they probably will) and then come out with them and those same will buy another one? Already people telling how to make it to accept a switch. not gonna change a thing.

You can't call them idiots though cause they are a multi million dollar company, maybe billions. but jeez Louise, just make one a little different, it can still have the same slide and internals. offer a different grip on some. NOPE. no innovation whatsoever. your 22 pistol looks exactly like your 45. hell they even got the same crappy cases. i mean one size does NOT fit all.

I do understand why they changed it a bit, lawsuits were getting out of hand. i don't know if they will win them or not. it's not their fault people make switches for them and they will make them for these new ones. They did cave from pressure when they should have just told them to FO.

Lenny in the video talking about them having the best grip angle of any handgun, i did laugh. but he is a glock store. ahh well, they won't go broke cause of me so i should just move along. lol

This is just a presumption however I say that as someone that worked within the sales part in a large indoor range/gun store and I happen to know some folks that run things at optics makers and firearms particularly Gkick.

Again this is just my thoughts as nobody called me

The reason Glock introduced the non optic ready first is since what September only agencies could get the A cut with the Aimpoint COA.

With the Gen V happening 2 months later I feel like Glock was going to go to an all COA offering only OR also a direct mount for other makes. (The year proprietary agreement expires in Jan/Feb time frame so other makes besides Aimpoint and Glock can offer A cut mounting)

So my suggestion for folks mad is just wait. If you want one. If you don’t want an optic new Glocl then I’m not sure why your mad and care what Glock does!!!!!

As far as durability again this stem V more than likely has been in the works for a while and also related to why they suspended civilian sales of the COA. Glock would not just introduce a model with any mod without months of testing.
However with the California stuff and folks wanting to be the cynical bunch they always are here we are!!!

When the smoke clears I will be surprised if it wasn’t anything but bad timing and well folks live tj run with part of a story and make up the rest.

We shall see!

Connecticut AG demanding Ruger.
Again the change in Gkick was more than likely happening as they have been working on it since around 2019.

That said until Hunter Biden is in pardoned and in federal prison and the Connecticut state police quit using Gen 5 Glocks they aren’t serious only using it to grab what they can
