No, I don't need it. Yes, I may buy it. Used Sig 320. Need your advice...

i have a P-320, i got new, and love it..

its a shooter (no pun intended) and i could not be any happier with mine.

but to be fair, it is just one of my range toys as well.

i am not sure of pricings in YOUR area, for a NIB P-320, so check around first for a new one.

otherwise, if none are available for nearly same price..??

i know i'd grab it.

that Sig may have had any updated parts to prevent unwanted discharges, or as the serial number indicated, it was NOT involved in any recall(s).

Thanks, like I said a new 320 would cost an extra $100 where I live.

But for some reason the used one appeals to me.

We'll see.

then go with your gut on this.

some people do like the "character" of a used gun, like the rub marks from being holstered.

for myself, i usually do not buy used, but this 1 time, i bought a Ruger Vaquero, single action revolver, that shoots 45 Colt

it does have some "minor" scratches on it, by the hammer area, but i liked the looks of what is called a "cowboy gun.

so i bought it

Your decision, but I can tell you I have 13 P320s (soon to be 14 when my P320 SXG Reserve comes in), and none have experienced any problems. I bought my first 4 P320s when they first came out (9mm, 357 Sig, 40, 45acp), along with an X-Change kit to make the 40 cal Carry, into a subcompact. They discontinued the 357 Sig and 40 S&W calibers on the P320, but I carried (IWB) the P320 Subcompact 9mm for 2 years without any problems.
As for the drop issue (mine (including the X-Change 40 cal slide), all went back to Sig for the VUP offer), I heard the P320 had to hit the ground at a specific angle to discharge (it was drop tested before its release and passed those tests).
As far as the unintentional discharges, I've heard it was holster related, people actually pulling they trigger inadvertently, etc. (lots of different videos out their on the P320 discharge issue). Personally I take no sides in the debate, I can only offer my experiences with my 13 P320s that I own.

when i 1st found the 357sig round it was in '15 or '16. bought a p226 then a g31 later that year. those were the only 2 i could find that offered anything chambered in that round that was full sized...............................maybe i should've looked harder as the m/p also offered it.
