300 BO; 8.5"
The 300BO has it's purpose up too 300 yards and has been good and do not shoot sub ammo. 6.8 I would take everywhere! 6.5 I bought just because my first rifle was my Dad's 264wm (1961) and enjoy the 26cal! 5.56 I owned before the 223Wylde came out and has been a good light high volume gun. 223Wylde has been more precise over the 5.56. If there was a 6SPC then I would buy, because I would limit the bullets from 75-100gr. That would be like what Wilson did with the 300BO (larger case with up to 150gr bullet in the 300HAM'R). Just my choices anyway! BTW, no plans on buying the 300HAM'R.

I think this is a very interesting cartridge......makes me think on getting one down the road, I like the 6.5 Creedmore round, but this has caught my interest.

6.5 Creedmoor is a great round too. I finally got one, have shot the round before and have studied and researched it. Now we have the 6.5 PRC. It’s just one thing after the other. I just have been reading as much as I can on the 6mm arc and it appears to be a solid round. Not saying get rid of your 5.56/.223 Wylde or anything but one if you really wanted your youngins to hunt with or shoot something different at a longer distance and even have as a defensive weapon, in comparison to the 5.56 of course.

My upper should be finished Monday. Brownells had a batch of black and March ammo in stock for a few hours yesterday morning and was able to snack 300 rounds before they ran out again.
I can post some pics up this week of the build.
I plan on running my Aero lower I have on my blackout for this upper bc I have a better trigger in the blackout than my 5.56/223.
I’ll try to break away Thursday or Friday and sight it in.
I’m going to have to get creative and set up some long range shots at my land

I have several(ar15 and 10) AP products, but no complete firearms from them. I will tell you the 3 6.5cm barrels I have are very accurate and their quality control is outstanding! I ordered 1 of 3 barrels they had left and was expecting it in 3-5 days. Called them up 3 weeks later and asked what the holdup was? They said the accuracy didn't meet their specs! 3 more weeks go by and it finally arrived. Built the upper and took it for a test spin. Couldn't have been more happier with the precision!

By the way I have (2) 8.5" 300bo barrels from them and a 223wylde also. The 300bo are excellent also and the 223wylde haven't tested it yet.

Had a quick trip to my 100 yard range - forgot targets but managed to get it sighted in. - 1st attachment is the second round of shots after I got it on target.

That’s awesome. Glad to see some getting into the wild and not in the “magazines”. I have looked for ammo but not finding any. Keep us posted on this please.

I have about half a grand of ammo already. Just get on an -item in stock notification- email list with someone. Brownells, palmetto state... etc. and be sure to order ASAP after receiving the email b/c they’ll run out in an couple hours or less.
First couple hundred rounds I got, I ordered at 9:30 am. - the email was sent at 7:30 am. I went back that afternoon because I decided to order more and they were out.
The companies don’t even have a chance to post anything online that they have any in stock bc they’re bought as soon as the truck delivers.
This past order this week, I got the email early, placed order — two hours later , sold out. So the batches of ammo are apparently small and it’s such I demand.
