It's been 19 Thanksgiving's since I cheated The Reaper. Offshore, Thanksgiving of 2006 is when I was almost killed and crippled in an underwater explosion working as a commercial diver. Not a day goes by without thinking of it. But the good thing is that I haven't had nightmares about it in a good long while.
