Hi,

Thanks for sharing. That's a good basic overview and explanation of iron sights. All of my pistols do not use the same sight picture. Some are center mass (EDC) while others need a 6 o'clock hold (target).

I put it on my M&P’s because of the suppressor sights to co witness the optic. Otherwise the rest I prefer no mounting system for an optic (I’ll admit I like having lights).

I still use iron sights on all my pistols the only red dot I have is on my pc carbine

I haven’t seen a sight picture like this (clearly in focus) for 20+ years!. I prefer combat hold on my pistol open iron sights. With a blurry front sight and unable to see if there’s equal daylight on both sides of the front sight, so much faster just to put that front sight dot on the target POA and try to get the equal height before the trigger squeeze. But I only shoot pistols, so combat hold is feasible.
