Tomorrow is time for mom. I will be here until next Friday so she’ll be under my wing.

The husband just called and told me they have a snowstorm moving in tonight which is supposed to hang around until tomorrow night so I’m not gonna miss that. It’s mixed with high winds so it’ll get ugly. Wouldn’t surprise me any if I get a text from work tomorrow morning that the plant will be closed.
I’m doing okay. Lots has been going on and there’s a lot to process, but the urgency is gone. Just doing my part now.

Don't usually cook full packer briskets the wife loves chicken and pork doesn't eat much beef. I cook a lot of Baby Back ribs and Boston Butts for pulled pork. Also cook NY Strips or Ribeyes usually about one a week.

we are in BROOKSHIRES country
HEB, etc pretty much no where..we do have walmarts
HEB is advertising they are moving farther east, we keep hoping
 
Heard back from guns.com on selling the reflex. I would be losing about $110 to sell it to them so that's what I am going to do. The gun should be fixed and fine according to FN so i'll leave it at that. I just don't trust it and will never again purchase a FN product. Thats ok, Gen6's will be out soon.

I checked the city website and did not find anything about free salt, just instructions for treating the sidewalks around your house.

The product I use is safe for concrete, asphalt, and treated wood, but it is not pet safe. We don't have a pet any more. 😕 Our neighborhood has no sidewalks so no worries there.

Anyway, I just got back from the range. On the way home I stopped to pick up a little something for Mrs. BassClifff for our anniversary tomorrow, 31 years, in a row! :D

Awoke early today, 2am, could not fall asleep, it will be a long day. Even the husky doesn't want to get up! Her food is ready just in case. Have had the first cup. I think the holiday messes me up--not too thrilled this time of year. Got Reflex all packed up for its trip. Will drop off at Walgreens today for Fedex.
 
Coffee on board and dogs fed. Horses a little later, it is cold out there. Posse is coming to my range this morning to shoot pistol drills in the coolness then lunch somewhere. Baltic Birch plywood for a set of cabinets for daughter's media room being delivered Friday or Monday, I'm gonna be busy next week.
