What are you doing right now??

Well, my shift at hospice is done. Kansas sister (my teammate) is on her flight back and team FL and NY are there. Won’t be much longer. Dad is as comfortable as he will get.
Tomorrow is time for mom. I will be here until next Friday so she’ll be under my wing.

The husband just called and told me they have a snowstorm moving in tonight which is supposed to hang around until tomorrow night so I’m not gonna miss that. It’s mixed with high winds so it’ll get ugly. Wouldn’t surprise me any if I get a text from work tomorrow morning that the plant will be closed.
I’m doing okay. Lots has been going on and there’s a lot to process, but the urgency is gone. Just doing my part now.
Not easy to deal with, you hang in there, continued thoughts and prayers

I picked up my balls and said to my family "I want you to check out my balls as this is the last time you'll see them for awhile "? A few had to feel them, stare at them with amazement as they were the biggest and heaviest they had ever seen.

Don't scroll down past here if you are unsure about content

You pervs just couldn't resist 🤣View attachment 99430

Dang that's a heck of a trip to find an HEB. We have a few meat markets here and one that gets their meat from a local rancher. No doubt could get much better briskets but the prices are outrageous. Don't usually cook full packer briskets the wife loves chicken and pork doesn't eat much beef. I cook a lot of Baby Back ribs and Boston Butts for pulled pork. Also cook NY Strips or Ribeyes usually about one a week.
yes
we are in BROOKSHIRES country
HEB, etc pretty much no where..we do have walmarts
HEB is advertising they are moving farther east, we keep hoping

Hi,

yeah, i use "safe salt', that will not damage part of my parking area, that has concrete...

does your city/town allow you free rock salt..???

I checked the city website and did not find anything about free salt, just instructions for treating the sidewalks around your house.

The product I use is safe for concrete, asphalt, and treated wood, but it is not pet safe. We don't have a pet any more. 😕 Our neighborhood has no sidewalks so no worries there.

Anyway, I just got back from the range. On the way home I stopped to pick up a little something for Mrs. BassClifff for our anniversary tomorrow, 31 years, in a row! :D

Hey! It's just starting to show here!

I'll probably have to shovel my driveway in the morning. Oh goody! :p

Thank you for your indulgence,

BassCliff

when we were spending the cold months in san antonio and south texas, HEB was a daily thing for fresh salsa, juices, breads etc
got to know exactly which counter to hit first
Very seldom does my wife let me go to our HEB Super Store with her. They have so many choices on just about anything to eat. I go down many aisles often buying things we just don't need.

Awoke early today, 2am, could not fall asleep, it will be a long day. Even the husky doesn't want to get up! Her food is ready just in case. Have had the first cup. I think the holiday messes me up--not too thrilled this time of year. Got Reflex all packed up for its trip. Will drop off at Walgreens today for Fedex.
