Remington Faces Bankruptcy Again, Acquisition From Navajo Nation

Remington opened a plant here in Huntsville, Alabama a number of years ago, and has been laying off and furloughing workers since they started having trouble in 2018 with their bankruptcy proceedings back then.

Aside from a Remington shotgun, I've not ever used any of their other weapons.

They moved to Huntsville after the state of New York put to many restrictions on them at there at one time main facility in upstate Iliad NY.
Remington took millions of dollars in tax breaks from the town of North Haven CT to move Marlin Firearms out after they bought the company. They took millions in tax breaks at the same time from NY to bring Marlin there to increase production and jobs and revitalize the Remington campus in Iliad. Then NY turned against them. They also have or had a wood gun stock manufacturing facility in Missouri.
Not sure if that’s still in operation.
