What are you doing right now??

just got my VP ( set up for a "possible" club visit in the morning.......that is...

1 If i wake up

2) it is not sub-zero temps

3) if i even feel like leaving the house

1 box of my reloads 115 gr. copper coated round nose, and 1 box of Fiocchi

what sucks is that the club house is heated, but the range heater, one of those split systems, is usually NOT left on...so the range itself will be FREEZING......

the VP 9 is out of rotation to go, but.........

Took the Atheris for a spin, got it sighted in on semi and flipped to FRT. it did not work. so messed with it a bit and still didn't. took it back across the street and did something i figured would work and it did. ran a 30 round mag no problem.

Then i broke out the Diamondback i just put an FRT in and i figured it was n't gonna work either cause i did the same with it. sure enough it didn't. now it's already sighted in so i just checking for BRRRRTTT function. had to take it back across the street and fix it. it now works.

Well I just got home from a little vacation. I had to go to the local hospital. I got up Tuesday morning and didn't feel right and things didn't look right either. I poured me a drink from the fridge , sat down at my computer and turned it on. Then I clicked on another forum I am on and got it to open by really concentrating . But after getting to the threads , I couldn't get them to open. And things were looking worse all the time.

I didn't even think to call 911 . I instead called my ex-wife( we get along better now then while married )and said "I need help!" she called 911 and EMTs got here first. My blood sugar was 50 and way low. However after getting to the hospital I found that my heart had gone into afib.

Now 2 years ago I was diagnosed with PVCs of the heart. For the past month I had been having trouble and not able to walk even half the distance I used to. Thinking the PVCs would stop after a bit.

So there were no PVCs , and my heart Dr told me that apparently when he put me on the medicine to control PVCs it did such a good job that it sent my heart into Afib. So they changed some of my meds. Took me off the med that took care of PVCs and then turned it into Afib after a while of being on it. Gave me some other stuff and here I am feeling like a test monkey .

Hope they get it straightened out. Sometimes it takes them a while to figure it out. Fell better soon.

i too am a diabetic, and if the wife and i have a lighter than usual supper, i still have my "usual" bedtime snack of a hot tea, and Devil Dog... you'd think that devil dog would have enough sugar in it to get me thru the night, but it does not...i wake up with the sweats and shakes, and right away i test my sugar, ant it too can be as low as 55-60, so then i take a glucose tablet......and go back to bed.

i am only on BP meds, no other heart meds.

hopefully the new meds will stabilize you soon enough.

You take care of yourself, glad you got someone to help you when needed.

Drinking coffee and getting my act together to return to the hospital and be with my mother, she had a heart attack and is scheduled to have surgery sometime today. She is a strong 88 year old woman, a 16 year breast cancer survivor, she is stable, not in any pain and you couldn't tell there's a problem just by looking at her.

oh yes PRAYERS for her to recover well
great smile she has
