Yeah, if you’re running a ported or comped pistol check your ammo when you buy. Plated ammo will foul everything up, as will the lead projectile under the plating.
Parker Mountain Machine who make compensators have a list of ammo to use and avoid. This is actually based around velocity of respective ammos, but is a good go by.
