It will ship from the nearest Best buy and the geeks will come and set up, and they test it before leaving. They're both big box stores, but I don't have to talk with anyone else but my wife.

our last 2 we just went to wally world
my last was a 47 roko ONN tv...very middle priced and it beats the crap out of my samsung tv

By having delivery, it eliminated the whole nightmare of people and trying to get it in the house. Since I'm disabled and don't walk so well, nor have the full use of my arm, I hate the public and Walmart seems to be the worst of it. Amazon brings my groceries and the dog food and whatever else I need.

there was a tv store not far from me, he sold NIB tv's, but were over stock items....they were still...NIB, name brands..

that man retired, recently.

now a days, i just go into the walmart store, check out what brands they have, and just buy it...today in fact, walmart has a TCL 50" for $238.99

no, i did not buy it...today.

my tv room is small, the wifes tv room is larger, so we buy according to the chart regarding tv size to room size.

right now, all tv's are fine......so no need to upgrade.

Remember when TVs were an expensive, luxury item? In the mid-70s, the Sony Trinitron was sort of the top dog color TV. I bought one from the Navy Exchange around 1977, and it set me back $400,00 if I recall. That was a buttload of money back then. Turntables, amps, speakers, all expensive and popular.
