I have read all the replies, and maybe because I live in Texas, and the defense of others is allowed, I might not turn my back on those that need help. If I am with my wife, I make sure she is away from danger first. In all of those scenarios, just by yelling anything to the aggressor will probably put the focus on you, and now you have a self defense situation.
I think in all of those scenarios, I would have a very hard time finding that one was severely injured, or killed.
Having spent my entire adult life in either the military or public safety, I think turning my back is not in my DNA.
