Never make assumptions, I had a 1911 in the 70s, and 80s, but the selection was not like it is today. With the choices today, I would never pick a 1911, so there!!!There, fixed it for you. (1911 fanboy)

I have owned and tried many times to like a double action revolver. No matter how much I shoot one and train with one to me it like kissing you sister just feels weird. Glocks are the same. There is something about a wheel gun
Practical - Simplicity - great for the professional and the civilian
I come to this site to learn.
QUESTIONS:
For the J FRAME FANs:
For the LCR FANS
For the TAURUS FANS
1) why did you chose your revolver-?
2) how to you EDC-?
3) what would you or not change change-?
4) your next revolver purchase-?
THIS IS SUPPOSE TO BE A POSITIVE THREAD:
For this Old Dawg
1) Because I was brought up a Snubby and it is a CQC tool - I could only afford a Taurus 605 357 Poly
2) it is my always firearm - cross draw OWB or IWB - when it was my BUG, pocket strong side.
3) change the trigger - not change the reliability factor
4) LCRx in either 38 or 22LR
How about you-?
Thank you

the 629 i had the trigger was adjustable and i loved shooting it in da and sa.I dream of finding Auto with trigger as good as a Revolver . Sig P-225 comes closest .
1911’s have excellent triggers if they have been worked on and done right. When I was fitting all the parts to mine I had it down to a pound and a half just to try it out. It’s about 4-4.5 now. Reset is less than a quarter of an inch. And you don’t need any special tools to fit the parts of a 1911. Just patients. And a little bit of understanding of how the parts work.I dream of finding Auto with trigger as good as a Revolver . Sig P-225 comes closest .
Well....Ok , 1911 are capable of being 1911's .
I should have specified a DA/SA , DAO , or Striker Fired , that can hold a candle to a fairly decent DA Revolver .
