I Love REVOLVERS

Not if you believe the 1911 fanboys. 2 world wars and the like.

Well since we are all getting older here’s some humor.

My disclaimer I started with a Model 15 in the USAF and like DA revolvers, DA/SA and GK LEM Autos and 1911’s

There is something about a wheel gun
Practical - Simplicity - great for the professional and the civilian

I come to this site to learn.

QUESTIONS:
For the J FRAME FANs:
For the LCR FANS
For the TAURUS FANS
1) why did you chose your revolver-?
2) how to you EDC-?
3) what would you or not change change-?
4) your next revolver purchase-?

THIS IS SUPPOSE TO BE A POSITIVE THREAD:

For this Old Dawg
1) Because I was brought up a Snubby and it is a CQC tool - I could only afford a Taurus 605 357 Poly
2) it is my always firearm - cross draw OWB or IWB - when it was my BUG, pocket strong side.
3) change the trigger - not change the reliability factor
4) LCRx in either 38 or 22LR

How about you-?

Thank you
I have owned and tried many times to like a double action revolver. No matter how much I shoot one and train with one to me it like kissing you sister just feels weird. Glocks are the same.

Ruger Super Blackhawk 7.5” barrel 44 mag
Ruger Super Wrangler 22lr/22mag
Ruger Wrangler 22lr
My next revolver purchase will probably be a Super Blackhawk 44 mag with 5.5 barrel. I still carry a single action every now and again in 44 mag with Barnes 220 gr SCHP which is more along the lines of a 44 spl +p+. Revolvers aren’t dead people are getting tired of Tupperware guns(I own several) and revolvers aren’t dead people making a huge comeback.

I dream of finding Auto with trigger as good as a Revolver . Sig P-225 comes closest .
1911’s have excellent triggers if they have been worked on and done right. When I was fitting all the parts to mine I had it down to a pound and a half just to try it out. It’s about 4-4.5 now. Reset is less than a quarter of an inch. And you don’t need any special tools to fit the parts of a 1911. Just patients. And a little bit of understanding of how the parts work.
